Fun Business Cards (Albuquerque Graphic Designer)

I know its been a while, but I have some business cards I designed today for my mother-in-law to share with you! Sadly they are moving to NE, but all the more reason to travel for Josh and I!

So we tried for European style business cards but well printers and tiny backgrounds aren't friends so I made some larger ones with the ornate background. :)

New Albums | 2010 Portfolio (Albuquerque Graphic Designer)

I'm SO excited the new album finally came in!

As I was doing some research with printing high-quality wedding albums I came across A LOT of typical designs. The photos were almost always amazing but the layout was BORING! And in my opinion the way to present amazing photos is with amazing design! Every single wedding album I saw had a black background, white borders around every pictures, and static design that makes you disinterested after two turns of a page.

I really do want to shower my clients with the blessings of my graphic design training to create unique albums from their sessions with me. So, decided what better way to give my clients an idea of what they could get than have a sample album.

Every year I like to create a portfolio of some of my best work from the past year. This album is my 2010 Portfolio.

I've decided to add this product to some of our wedding packages and make it an optional add on for other packages. This album is TOP NOTCH! New Zealand (Graphic Artisit)

Way back in 2008 I went on a mission trip to the wonderful New Zealand! It was the most gorgeous place I've ever been to. At the time I only had my Nikon Coolpix, but to prove many photographers points, its not the camera you have but the person behind it. I do have to say getting these photographs in New Zealand really started my love for phtoography. I finally was able to put together an album of my favorite shots from the trip. Here are just a few snippets of what the printed album looks like!

Looker Wedding Album (Albuquerque Wedding Graphic Designer)

Finally I got a chance to put my graphic design skills to use! Quinn's mom ordered a wedding album. I had so much fun compiling some verses and her favorite pictures to create this beautiful album. It still amazes me that I get paid to make art. I am so blessed!

Card (Albuquerque Graphic Designer)

'Tis the season to be getting married!! Today, I went to a bridal shower for a friend and made her this card. I was so happy with how it turned out that I wanted to share it with you all. :)



The background may look familiar...probably because it is one I took of her and her fiance a few months ago ;)

New Business Cards! (Albuquerque Graphic Designer)

I finally got my new business cards in! I finished the design and sent them off last week. The reason for new cards? Well my old ones didn't feature any of my work, which is quite silly to have no photographs on a photography business card. Also, I do weddings and portraits so I thought it would be good to have two sets depend on the future client! Anyway here the are!

As you may have noticed things around here have changed. Why? Well, because my website is done and live on the web! I must say web design is a lot of fun but very tedious, I think I'll stick to photography for my job. But I have to say it is a HUGE blessing having studied graphic design and learning a little of web design in the mix! Anywhoo, here it is!

Guest Books (Albuquerque Wedding Graphic Designer)

Finally, I was able to grab a few shots of our guest book I designed and put them up here! I now offer custom designed guest books for couples who do engagement shoots with me. Its a fun way to have an album of your engagement photos. Not only that but it serves as a way to know all who came to your wedding, giving everyone a chance to leave you a little message and not just sign their name. Josh and I really enjoyed reading the comments everyone left us, some were quite amusing, of course. Our friends are, well, a bit silly. haha. Enjoy!

Invitations (Albuquerque Graphic Designer)

The invitations are finally done for our wedding! After many edits and changes, a full day of assembly with both Josh and my family, they are DONE!!! Hopefully everyone will be getting them in the mail soon! This is the final product!

Photoshop Project (Albuquerque Graphic Designer)

I am trying to finish my degree in graphic design at CNM. I'm in a Photoshop class and had an interesting assignment where I needed photos of seven friends. So I thought it'd be fun to post the edited photos and my final project that includes the photo...As you will realize I didn't end up needing everyone's photo for layout reasons, but I still had fun tweaking
the photos a bit. ;)
